The abstract of the personal book – 4th high school

In the book is narrated an adventurous story set in the far 2222, which takes place in a picturesque village on the shores of Lake Verbano whose name is still Ascona.

After the catastrophe of 2022, when two-thirds of the world’s population perished, was established a central government called “Unified Power” (UP) which is based in Ishtar; the police, investigation and research built by the UP is called “Experimental Team”. It’s engages in research, investigation, murder, mentally ill, criminals, murderers and all similar cases.

Many policemen of the Experimental Team own one (or even two) linuari, animals similar to a cross between a lynx and a jaguar, trained for difficult situations and nurtured in the laboratory.

The section of the Experimental Team in the south of the Swiss Alps, is located in Ascona and his boss is the commander Fenix, always followed by Sergio, his faithful officer with his two linuari, Solaris and Selene. Not far away, in the harbor of Ascona, two young’s in their twenties Chrysalis and Joshua Bartok live in their big sailboat -received from their parents before they died killed in unknown circumstances- and near there, is anchored the catamaran of their friend Marius, an old Irish Seawolf.

The young Chrisa is an annwyn, an entity of the same human’s molecular structure but with a much stronger mental power, crowned by the ability to get into the “dream”; which means to separate from the physical body during REM sleep phase and then be able to move (even at the speed of light) in our world.

Chrisa met many times in the dream another annwyn, Hathor, but she fears and always escapes him, without imagining what he wants to tell her.

Hathor was a friend of Chrysalis’ father, dr. Bartok, a scientist who discovered many important things and researched secretly behind the Unified Power…

One night Chrisa, while in the dream and escaping a presence that terrifies her, finds a strange object on the road and takes it with her. The day after she show it to her brother Joshua, who isn’t very attracted by all that very much “magic” matters which he calls “opus-pocus”.

A few days later they found two mutilated dead bodies in the water, not far from a big and expensive cruise speedboat with tinted windows. The boys and Marius are not there but they receive information in secret by the guardian of the harbor, and so when the Experimental Team starts to investigate, they decide to travel to Ireland to discover more about the mysterious object, called Vibratory Matrix. Marius, very smart, weaves a web of excuses to remove the suspicions of the Experimental Team giving them time to act and take the flight to Ireland with Chrisa and Joshua. Before take-off, Chrisa feels very strongly the presence of a predator, but it does not arrive in time to harm her because the plane has just taken off.

The lawyer Hathor Var Darquen de Aguillar, in his Masonic villa in Ascona, speaks with a weird man. His name is Lord Warden, he’s accompanied by a strange creature named Vamaran, the man purpose is to “cleanse the world” by means of the Vibrators Matrix and the Cross of the Scriptures: he wants to eliminate all the people who have not reached a high level of vibration.

He holds a great power at the top of the Unified Power and he is sure that he will succeed… When they dismiss, Hathor is very upset and worried for Chrisa. Hathor get to know about the movements of the boys; after preparing a luggage he takes with him a book bound in black leather and went to Paris on a private jet.

That evening Chrisa brings his brother in the “dream” and went to the Irish Celtic worship place where is the very old Cross of the Scriptures. In that moment, in Paris inside the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in ruins, Hathor crosses a mystical portal and appears in front of two young and scared them very much. Hathor explains to Chrisa a few things and asked them not to be afraid of him, then he gives her the black book with a gold Celtic runes title and disappears as he appeared.

The next day the two brothers discuss the encounter with Marius and his cousin Sibéal, whom is hosting them in her big house full of plants.

That night Chrysalis, below the ancient giant yew tree, meets Vamaran (which is actually Gwynn ap Nudd, the king of Annwn) and they kiss passionately. Vamaran know that in this way the young woman can be bond to him, because he needs her to activate the Cross of the Scriptures using the Vibratory Matrix.Chrisa passed a restless night and the next day she’s very troubled. On the evening of that day she must go to the ancient celtic’s worship place with her “best half” (an annwyn male bound to her) and two druid’s guardians, to activate the mystics devices in order to pass through the projection and break the sacred mirror. But Chrisa doesn’t feel safe. She’s involved in the fight of her “best half”: between Hathor and Gwynn. Later she discovers that thousand years earlier she and Hathor were in love, in medieval times; he tries since many lifetimes to come back to her, but she unfortunately has “forgotten” about him. All this and much more is written in the mysterious black book, a collection of many years of research and amazing discoveries.

Meanwhile, in Ascona the commander Fenix ​​advances very quickly in the research and in the investigation of the murder of two individuals in the harbor. He does that so fast that the authorities of the Experimental Team in Turicum suspend him temporarily -and for unknown reasons- from the investigation and seize all the research’s material. Fenix ​​is ​​discouraged and feels torn: he was coming to a solution. Therefore he close himself inside his office and comes out only after resolving most of the mysteries. After that, he and Sergio go to the private villa of Hathor and activating a complex gimmick, they enter and remain locked in the basement. There, in the dark, they are “sucked” into a trap of space-time which will make them reappear in Hathor’s  Zen garden. That same evening, in Ireland, in the house of Sibéal are the young’s, the two Druids, Marius and his cousin when Gwynn comes . After telling who he really is, Gwynn asks Chrisa to evoke Hathor. This latter comes quickly and tells some very important things. At the end Chrysa choose not to activate the Vibratory Matrix and not pass through the projection; but Marius and Sibéal, which actually belong to the “Fairy People” and have almost reached the end of their life on this side of the Mists, they decide to return to their land (the island of Avalon) with Gwynn and the Great Stag.

The book ends with a scene in which Hathor leads out of his office commanded Fenix ​​and Sergio with a strange gift…

I really liked this book because it is very interesting and instructive, has a beautiful setting, involves a lot the reader and offers a reading at many different levels.

Il riassunto del libro personale – compito di 4a. media

Nel libro è narrata una storia avventurosa ambientata nel lontano 2222, che si svolge in un pittoresco paese sulle rive del lago Verbano il cui nome è ancora Ascona.
Dopo la catastrofe del 2022, quando due terzi della popolazione mondiale sono periti, è stato istaurato un governo centrale chiamato “Potere Unificato” che ha sede ad Isthar; il corpo di polizia, investigazione e ricerca costruito dal PU si chiama “Squadra Sperimentale”. Essa si occupa di ricerche, investigazione, omicidi, malati di mente, criminali, assassini e tutti i casi simili.
Molti poliziotti della Squadra Sperimentale posseggono uno (o anche due) linuari, animali simili ad un incrocio tra una lince ed un giaguaro, addestrati per le situazioni difficili e allevati in laboratorio.
La sezione della Squadra Sperimentale a sud delle Alpi Svizzere ha sede ad Ascona e il suo capo è il comandante Fenix, sempre seguito dal fedele ufficiale Sergio con i suoi due linuari, Solaris e Selene. Poco distante, nel porto di Ascona, due ventenni di nome Chrysalis e Joshua Bartók abitano nella loro grande barca a vela -ricevuta dai genitori prima che morissero assassinati in circostanze ignote- e lì vicino è ancorato il catamarano del loro amico Marius, un vecchio lupo di mare irlandese.
La giovane Chrisa è una annwyn, un entità dalla stesa struttura molecolare degli esseri umani ma con un potere mentale molto più forte, coronato dalla capacità di entrare nel “sogno”; cioè staccarsi dal proprio involucro fisico durante la fase del sonno REM per poi potersi muovere (anche alla velocità della luce) nel nostro mondo.
Chrisa ha incontrato molte volte nel sogno un altro annwyn, Hator, ma lo teme e gli sfugge sempre, senza immaginarsi minimamente quello che lui vuole dirle.
Hator è stato un amico del padre di Chrysalis, il dott. Bartók, uno scienziato che aveva scoperto molte cose importanti e condotto ricerche all’oscuro del Potere Unificato…
Una notte Chrisa, mentre è nel sogno e fugge da una presenza che la terrorizza, trova uno strano oggetto sulla strada e lo prende con sé. Il giorno dopo lo mostra a suo fratello Joshua, che però non e molto attratto da tutte quello faccende molto “magiche” che lui chiama “opus-pocus”.
Qualche giorno dopo vengono trovati due cadaveri mutilati nell’acqua, poco distante da un grosso e costoso motoscafo da crociera con i vetri oscurati. I ragazzi e Marius non si trovano lì ma ricevono informazioni in segreto dal guardiano del porto, e così quando la Squadra Sperimentale entra in causa e inizia ad investigare, decidono di recarsi in Irlanda per scoprire di più sul misterioso oggetto, chiamato Vibratory Matrix. Marius, molto furbo, tesse una trama di scuse per togliere i sospetti della Squadra Sperimentale dando loro il tempo di agire e di intraprendere il volo verso l’Irlanda con Chrisa e Joshua. Prima del decollo dell’aereo, Chrisa sente la presenza di un predatore, molto forte, il quale però non arriva in tempo per nuocerle siccome l’aereo è appena decollato.
L’avvocato Hator Var Darquen de Aguillar, nella sua villa massonica ad Ascona, parla con uno strano individuo. Il suo nome è Lord Warden, è accompagnato da una singolare creatura di nome Vamaran, e il suo scopo è quello di “pulire il mondo” con la Vibratori Matrix e la Croce delle Scritture: eliminare tutte le persone che non hanno raggiunto un elevato livello di vibrazione.
Egli detiene un grande potere ai vertici del Potere Unificato ed è sicuro che riuscirà nel suo intento… Quando si congedano, Hator rimane molto turbato e si preoccupa per Chrisa. Hator viene poi a conoscenza degli spostamenti dei ragazzi, dopo aver preparato un bagaglio prende con sé un libro rilegato in pelle nera e si reca a Parigi su di un jet privato.
Quella sera Chrisa porta con sé suo fratello nel “sogno” e si reca fino al luogo di culto celtico irlandese dove si trova la vecchissima Croce delle Scritture. In quello steso momento, a Parigi nella Cattedrale di Nôtre-Dame in rovina, Hator varca un portale mistico e appare davanti ai due giovani spaventandoli tantissimo. Hator spiega a Chrisa alcune cose e la prega di non avere paura di lui, poi le consegna il libro nero dal titolo in rune celtiche dorate e sparisce così come è apparso.
Il giorno dopo i due fratelli discutono di quell’incontro con Marius e sua cugina Sibéal, che li ospita nella sua grande casa piena di piante.
Quella sera Chrysalis, sotto il tasso gigante, incontra Vamaran (che in realtà è Gwynn ap Nudd, il re degli Annwn) e si baciano appassionatamente. Vamaran sa che in quel modo può legare la giovane a sé, poiché ne ha bisogno per attivare la Croce delle Scritture e la Vibratory Matrix.
Chrisa passa una notte agitata e il giorno dopo è molto turbata. La sera di quel giorno deve recarsi all’antico luogo di culto celtico con “la sua seconda metà” (cioè un annwyn maschio a lei legato) e due custodi druidi per attivare i due dispositivi mistici in modo da poter varcare la proiezione ed infrangere lo Specchio sacro; ma lei non si sente sicura. È coinvolta nella lotta nella scelta della sua metà, tra Hator e Gwynn.
Più tardi scoprirà che lei e Hator sono stati innamorati mille anni prima, nel Medioevo; e lui cerca da molte vite di tornare da lei, che purtroppo si è “dimenticata” di lui. Tutto questo e molto di più è scritto nel misterioso volume nero, una raccolta di lunghi anni di ricerche e strabilianti scoperte.
Intanto ad Ascona il comandante Fenix avanza molto velocemente nelle ricerche e nelle indagini pratiche dell’assassinio dei due individui nel porto, talmente velocemente che le autorità della Squadra Sperimentale di Turicum lo sollevano temporaneamente -e per motivi ignoti- dall’indagine e requisiscono tutto il materiale delle ricerche. Fenix è demotivato e si sente demolito: stava arrivando ad una soluzione. Perciò si chiude in ufficio e ne esce solo dopo aver risolto maggior parte dei misteri. Dopo di questo, lui e Sergio si recano in privato alla villa di Hator e attivando un complesso marchingegno entrano e rimangono chiusi nei sotterranei. Lì, all’oscuro e al chiuso, vengono “risuchiati” in una trappola dello spazio-tempo che poi li farà riapparire nel giardino zen di Hator. Quella stessa sera in Irlanda, nella casa di Sibéal si trovano i ragazzi, i due druidi, Marius e sua cugina quando giunge Gwynn. Dopo aver raccontato chi è veramente, Gwynn chiede a Chrisa di evocare Hator. Quest’ultimo giunge velocemente lì e racconta alcune cose molto importanti. Alla fine Chrysa sceglie di non attivare la Vibratory Matrix e non varcare la proiezione; ma Marius e Sibéal, che in realtà appartengono al “Popolo fatato” e sono quasi giunti alla fine della loro vita al di qua delle nebbie, decidono di tornare nella loro terra (l’isola di Avalon) con Gwynn e il Grande Cervo.
Il libro si conclude con la scena in cui Hator conduce fuori dal suo ufficio il comandate Fenix e Sergio con uno strano regalo…

Mi è piaciuto molto questo libro poiché è molto interessante ed istruttivo, ha una bella ambientazione, coinvolge moltissimo il lettore e offre una lettura a più livelli diversi.
